Audialsense are a collective of sound artists established in 2005, comprising of architects Paul Bavister / Jason Flanagan and acoustician Ian Knowles, we are based in London, and have executed spatially related sound installations the UK and Europe.

Having
graduated as an architect from the Barlett School of Architecture in 1999,
Paul Bavister started working in the restaurant and retail sector on projects
such as Belgo Restaurants, and Habitat. When at Foster and Partners, he
has worked on both Peterborough and Corby City Academies. Now at BFLS,
Paul is project architect on a concert hall and theatre for the Royal
Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
Jason has specialised in the relationship between acoustics and architecture as the Project Architect on a number of Performing Arts Projects while at Foster and Partners. He was the Partner responsible for the Sage Gateshead, a music centre comprising three concert halls and a music school which opened in 2004. He was also involved in the Dallas Opera House, Reykjavic Opera House, the new Avery Fisher Hall for the Lincoln Centre in New York and the Clyde Auditorium at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow which opened in 1997. He was trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture and the Royal College of Art. He has lectured extensively on Performing Arts Projects, Acoustics and Architecture.
Ian
Knowles has been a professional acoustician for 21 years. He has worked
on and designed the acoustics for many studio projects and performing
arts buildings. Of particular note are AIR Studios, Abbey Road Studios,
ITN, C4, BSkyB, BBC Pacific Quay, and many west end theatres including
the new Unicorn and Soho Theatre and Writer's Centre. Music venues include
The Sage Gateshead, Basel Concert Hall, GSMD Concert Hall Barbican, Royal
Concert Hall Glasgow, Belfast Concert Hall.
